Progress Bars

Ha LJ, I have thwarted your attempts to thwart me! Or something...

LJ doesn't let you use many of the "progress bars" out there, but it does allow images. Thus I have now added the following to my profile page.

Current Projects:
[livejournal.com profile] buxom_bey's poi gloves
green socks
Tab's skirt - now finishing
spinning wool for Roger's mittens
cross stitched peacock

err, maybe not ;) I should have looked at the links to figure out that it's a static bitmap.

Instructions for the CSS ones can be found here (http://knitticisms.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_knitticisms_archive.html) (scroll down). A flash version can be found here (http://knitticisms.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_knitticisms_archive.html). Neither of these work in LJ from what I understand though.

this non-css version should work but for some reason the div is inheriting a line break or something (it works fine from a blank HTML page:

Replace width of d2 to percentage and change HTML within D1 to text version of percentage

< div id="empty" style="background-color:#cccccc;border:1px solid black;height:20px;width:100px;padding:0px;" align="left">
< div id="d2" style="position:relative;top:0px;left:0px;background-color:#333333;height:20px;width:65px;padding-top:0px;padding:0ex;">
< div id="d1" style="position:relative;top:0px;left:0px;color:#f0ffff;height:20px;text-align:center;font:bold;padding:0px;padding-top:2px; font-size:16px">
65%
</div></div></div>Project foo

I see no reason why not. The creator posted to one of my knitting communities and said anyone was free to use it if they saved it to their own server. It was available in other colors; I just really like blue.

Sigh I am sorry they are taking so long honestly. Most of my knitting time recently has been bus knitting, which they are not incredibly suited for. :P Here is to getting them done way before it gets cold again!
