CSA Week 3

Roger and I did our pick up yesterday together via bike. I think I prefer morning pickup though, since I think we get a significantly better selection. We did have a couple more choices we could have picked up, but we weren't super interested in what was left. We still have swiss chard and curly kale left from last week.

This Week's Pickup

• greenhouse tomatoes
  
• red russian kale

We also stayed and did a bit of weeding while dusk came on, which meant that we got to see the swallows who live in the barns really come out to feed. We didn't get herbs since it was getting late but on saturday I want to pick up some more mint, oregano, and some thyme which is a new option. Hopefully I will get to do some more weeding while we are out there.
