I have been really backlogged the last couple of days so this is there may be a little bit of flooding in my journal for a little bit while I clear out all of the things I have been thinking about since then.

Part of the problem, in addition to how much I had to do was that I got incredibly sick thursday. By friday I had had a raging fever. By my math exam I was getting kinda crazy. Everything seemed to swaying softly all the time. The professor was not around though since he had a conference in the Bahamas. As a result there wasn't much I could do about it.

Basically I went home, took a hot bath and shivered in bed. Roger took really good care of me, making sure I took my medicine, plenty of water and hot soup. I slept in a couple of hour intervals for a while until my fever broke. After that I really started to feel better, although then I got very hoarse with a nasty cough.

Update: Just checked the grades now on-line. I think I just passed math! Woohoo!

I had a fun day shopping with [livejournal.com profile] queenofhalves, although I am quite embarrassed to have been so late. (I didn't account for nearly an hour delay due to the bus system and the snow.) We hit the Goodwill in Davis and the Garment District.

At both places [livejournal.com profile] queenofhalves found some great stuff! I love finding that perfect, unique thing that can only be found at thrift shops. I feel that I was fairly restrained, but I love the things that I ended up getting. I just got one book, a burgundy zip-up sweater hoodie, and a great blue wool skirt.

It was SO COLD though! Just going across Davis Square my toes felt like little blocks of ice in my boots. Going from Kendall to the Garment District seemed like crossing the tundra. I'm not sure if how cold I felt is a good reflect of the true temperature or not though. Even now I am sitting here slightly feverish still.
