Butterflies
Apr. 24th, 2005 11:30 pmI went to the Museum of Science to go see the Butterfly Garden. If you are also interested, my advice is to buy your tickets in advance online. We went on saturday about 2 pm and they had sold out for the day. Then on sunday we were there when they opened at 10 am, but they had sold out until 11:45.
Despite this though I felt it was quite enjoyable. The cost was only $4 per adult/$3 per child in addition to the general exhibit hall fee (which we didn't have to pay since we are members). The exhibit is small, but filled with all different butterflies (and some of the more attractive moths) and flowers. And you are welcome to take as long as you like (however there is no readmittance). I will probably be going back in the near future so Roger can have a chance to play with his macro settings.
