Weekend Recap
Jul. 23rd, 2007 06:51 pmFriday I headed out to the "Hogwarts Square" event. I picked up the 2 Draco and the Malfoy cds while I was there. The Blue Blog managed a kind review of everyone who preformed. I am not sure that I could have done as well. thanos73, but it was just too loud and sprawling for that to be possible. I saw mrpet briefly there, but by that point I was mostly peopled out.
Saturday I got my Deathly Hallows copy about mid-day and finished it by that evening. Roger scolded me for getting to 11 PM without having eaten anything. I was busy!
Sunday I headed over tomrpet's house for some crafting. I brought my long neglected Icarus shawl, and having company meant that I got through a trouble area that I hadn't felt up to dealing with before. This is my longest running knitting project ever as I cast it on in June 2007.
Afterwards we headed over to Za. I had had macaroni and cheese pizza before (yummy but very filling) but the bing cherry, goat cheese, walnut and basil pizza was a tasty surprise. The latter was not something that I would have thought to order, so I was so glad that I had someone to recommend it. I can't believe I had never been in that restaurant before.
