Jan. 7th, 2010 10:59 pmTonight we made vegetarian yakisoba. Delicious! When you buy yakisoba noodles it often has a packet of sauce, but it contains a small amount of onion in it. It was a small enough amount it might have been ok, but it is super easy to make the sauce so it wasn't worth risking
cintyber.
We also made a lovely red lentil soup that I amended with some cumin and fresh meyer lemon zest. I love the texture the brown rice gives this recipe, but Chiquita was not a fan for exactly the same reason.
Unfortunately that used the last of the red lentils, so we will need to pick up more to make dosa.
We also need to pick up rice noodles, because I really want to make Pancit Bihon.(I also want to make these double chocolate pomegranate cookies without the white chocolate chips, but I have everything for these on hand already.)
