I am sort of shocked by the number of socks I have knit just in April! (Only the Gentleman's Winter socks had been started prior to the start of the month.) Sock Madness is crazy!

Would you hand-wash socks? These are knit from doubled lace weight, which is easier to find in a wide color palate when not super-wash.

Ooooh, see, I'm not the only one who does the laundry. I can't be sure they wouldn't go through the wash cycle. :( Is there any way to make them laundry-proof?

There are superwash lace yarns out there, but they still can't be dried hot. (Possibly tumble dry, though I would probably dry flat personally.)
