17 lb Brazilian baby

omlyOMG A short article can be found here about a 17 pound baby born in Brazil. Thankfully he was delivered via a C-section, but still! Apparently she has 4 other children and everyone was surprised by they baby's weight. So I assume her other children were of a relatively normal size. Given that she probably has had diabetes during that time I wonder what the difference was for this pregnancy.
