Field Trip - Nuvera

So yesterday the class I TA for went on a field trip. We went to go visit Nuvera, a fuel cell company out by Alewife. Actually the visit was a lot of fun, and the seem to use a lot of the material which I am doing now which is exciting. Say hey for actually using what you learned in school. A lot of it went over the heads of the students in the class though. They are only freshman and they have no idea what a Plug Flow Reactor is for example. Unless it was right out of our class material they wouldn't have seen a lot of this stuff. On the other hand I think that it was really good for them to see an environment in which chemical engineers really work and to see the actually testing setups etc. In the end I am not sure if it was a better experience for them or me, but I am still very glad that I had the opportunity to go.

*edit* Oh, I saw this guy at the company who could have been Cwellan's brother (with darker hair, dreds and full beard).
