omlyWow! Color me impressed. On the suggestion of the BPAL board I ordered a bunch of scents from SweetCakes, a fragrance oil, soap, lotion supply company. I am so incredibly happy with my order: from those I tried the scents range from good to excellent, and the price was incredibly low. Much bath salt, bath bomb, and scent lotion making is to come as I finish up my Christmas presents.
I got:
Love Spell Fragrance Oil - exactly like the Victoria Secret lotion. This is one of my favorite scents and I am thrilled at the prospect of making it into bath salts and bombs.
Fresh Grass Fragrance Oil - this is really nice; it smells like the Gap Lotion of the same scent. I wish it was a little grassier, but both the SO and I liked this one.
Tomato Leaf Fragrance Oil - not quite up to the real thing, but pretty none the less. This is slightly green/leafy but with a definate aquatic note. We plan on using this in one of those Body Shop plug in oil diffusers in the bathroom.
Apothecary Lemon Verbena Fragrance Oil - I love lemon verbena so much! This is more lemon than lemon verbena. In the bottle at least it has a definite pledgy quality. I still think it would make a fabulous room scent though.
True Rose Fragrance Oil - this may be synthetic, but it is really pretty good considering. This shall go into many christmas gifts for the ladies in my family, and a bunch of bath items for me too
L'Occitane Verbena Fragrance Oil - as mentioned above I love lemon verbena and was looking for a good source of this scent. I like this one much more than the Apothecary Lemon Verbena Fragrance Oil. It is more like lemon verbena, with a slight greenness.
I am not sure which is the winner for my favorite. It is a close call between Love Spell and L'Occitane Verbena.
