I hate malls, particularly in Dec

My holiday shopping has been pretty much done for a while. (We still need to do Roger's parents, though I have started his mother's gift.) There are a a bunch of December birthdays in my family though, and every year at least one of them sneaks under the radar and I end up in a mall during December anyways.

So in this spirit, Tab and I ended up at Cambridgeside yesterday. It actually was not that bad. We headed that way after church, and it wasn't as crowded as I had feared. We had a really nice lunch together at CPK, and finished almost everyone. I still need to find a gift for my dad, but I think it will just end up being a non-mall thing.

We braved the mall on Friday night - it wasn't too bad.

I know that I'll have to go to the mall at least once before Christmas hits, because there are a few things I saw for Todd when I was there.

I saw images of the mall friday morning, and I was really glad I had no intention of going out. Were there any good deals left by the evening?

We had gone so Todd could make a payment on his Sears card. I dragged him into the mall to see if Yankee Candle had any sales (they didn't), and we passed the video game store on the way back.

They had a sale, buy 2 used games, get one free. Which we had to do. We each picked out a game (I got Lego Star Wars, and he got Area 51), then picked a game for both of us (Advance Wars for the nintendo DS). So we got 3 games for $50, since Todd has a discount card for used game too.

We didn't go anywhere else - though we did go to Wal-Mart earlier in the day, and they didn't seem to have great sales either.

Oh, this would figure. CPK makes pizzas I can eat, and there isn't one even remotely close to where I live.

But if you come into visit me/we plan another meetup we could go there. There is one in the galleria mall and another in the prudential mall.
