Urg: USPS

So far this past week has had more than its fair share of irritation. The latest (and honestly least) incident is a Christmas card that was returned to me for "stamps void when reused". All I can think of is the fact that I wrote the wrong PO Box number and crossed it out. Also when they put the postmark over the stamp it smudged while the ink was still wet. But seriously, as annoying as it is to get this returned (unfairly) what is with the incredibly late date? It never even left the state.

But at least it came back to you. I've got two packages I sent out more than a month ago that nobody's received yet. Not the recipients, not myself, nobody. The addresses were all right - they got (separate) holiday cards sent to the same addresses (ironically, after the packages). The only thing I can think of is that they bounced back and someone got wigged out that the postmark was from Ohio and the return address was in Iowa 'cause I sent them after I'd started forwarding my mail.
