The Network/La Red squares

There was just a post in 20sknitters that The Network/La Red is putting a call out for yarn crafty types (knitting or crochet) to make 7"X7" squares that will be made into a quilt and auctioned off. This is an organization that I care about and would love to spread the word further. World of Knitted Toys

I ordered a copy of World of Knitted Toys at the Harvard Book Store saturday morning, and it arrived yesterday afternoon. Talk about getting it in quickly! Yet another reason to buy independent rather than chain. I am very excited! The book looks wonderful. There are so many designs I am thinking doing. I think I shall be carrying around this book with me for the next couple days while I make some selections. Plus the pictures are just fun to look at.
