Pick a Vegetable

I am very tired and I am being called to the kitchen for dinner, but I wanted to write about this while I was thinking about it. As a special treat Tab and I are having ravioli from a can for dinner. After telling that she had to pick a vegetable from the fridge to supplement, she came back with a pepper.

"Do you want me to cut that up into strips raw?" I asked, the way we do at her grandmothers.
"No," she said, "I want it cooked."
"Just cooked peppers?"
"Yes," she replied.

Well at least she is eating a vegetable.
