Vacation Knitting
Jun. 27th, 2006 08:40 amSo now that I am feeling a bit more alive, I will get around to posting. I did a bunch of crafting this weekend since it rained so much and also at the beach while the kids played in the water. Roger is pleased I was actually finishing a bunch of things that were almost done.
buxom_bey's poi gloves are done at least in the knitting. I am not going to weave in the ends until she tries them on though. I recast off one of my green socks so that it fits better and matches the tension of the other one. Also I did almost all of the knitting on a pair of anklets, which also need the ends woven in. Notice a trend? I forgot my darning needle this weekend, but you will probably find me working on this this evening at Deisel.
Also I started a baby raglan this weekend.
kracktek doesn't approve of the color, but I think it is very spring-like and a nice bright baby green. I ended up doing half the yoke before deciding I didn't like the pattern, frogging and changing it completely to suit my preferences. The only thing that is the same is the raglan increases which I didn't want to have to calculate.
Kntting:
