DADA:
Option 1: “I must not tell lies”- craft a cowl or scarf that you could wind around your face to stop yourself from making snide comments or talking out of turn.

Option 2: “Wands away and quills out”- show us that you aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo, craft a project with a technique that you’ve read about, but never used before. Show us that practical knowledge trumps theory just like Harry and his friends did in Dumbledore’s Army! Never fear, you are allowed to consult various resources such as books, videos, and friends- what would Dumbledore’s Army have been without Harry’s expertise? Please note what technique you used and tell us about your experience.

Option 3: “The Hogwarts High Inquisitor knows best”- Maybe you begin setting off fireworks inside the castle or create a charmed swamp in a hallway for Filch to boat students across… You could, wait, we’re not going to do all the work here, so you tell us! Be creative and show us how you would anger Professor Umbridge, or, if you really fear that evil pen, a project that would prevent you from angering her.

Herbology: Poppy
Option 1: Craft something flowery. Whether it is a flower patterned piece or the flower itself, it’s spring - let your yarn bloom!

History of Magic
For your assignment this month, embrace the love of sport shown by the early inventors of Quidditch. Craft something inspired by a sport! Any sport can be represented, be it modern or historical, Wizarding or Muggle, or at the professional, amateur, or school level. You may craft something inspired by playing a sport, something that demonstrates your support of a team, or something useful to a spectator of your chosen sport.
