To [livejournal.com profile] chaiya, [livejournal.com profile] crazybone and anyone else on my f-list in the Boston area with a CSA membership:

What CSAs are you a part of? Last year we were members at Busa Farms, but they are changing their system in a way I don't think I want to be part of anymore. I would love to find another well recommended CSA. Also I can look up cost for each CSA in the area, but they don't tend to want to say how much produce you will get (understandably). Any ball park estimate of what you have gotten in the past would be helpful.

Parker Farm's (rather eye-blinking) webpage is here (http://web.mac.com/parkerfarm/iWeb/Site/csa%20program.html). We've been getting his produce for the past 2 or 3 years now. It tends to be between 4 and 6 grocery bags' worth for a full share, and during the height of the heavy veggies season (gourds, corn, etc), we drive so we don't have to carry it home by hand.

And, hey, he's doing deliveries in our driveway this year! :)

Will you be the Porter pick up location then?

Thanks for this info, I think I will be going with them this year. And am discussing with the person I'm splitting the full share with whether porter or central works better for us, so i might get to meet more spiffy people if you are hosting the pick-ups in porter.
