If you're asking for the reason I think you are...I'm allergic to wool.

:) How about other animal fibers such as alpaca? If you aren't sure I would suggest I give you a string of the yarn to wear as a bracelet to see if it causes a reaction. In order to felt it needs to be an animal fiber.
