More writing here on the home front. I know. I am terribly thrilling these days. Tab is down visiting my mom, so there is at least one less to keep entertained. In a phone call yesterday she told me she was building a fort, but was was having some problems with "the structural dynamics" (her words) and she had to go. I am not sure what sort of scale this project was, but hopefully my mom has it under control...

I hope your writing is going well

It is thank you so much! I actually think I will be done a little early. I talked to her last night, and Tab says that she made a fort as big as a room (not height-wise but area-wise). That is some fort! I hope my mom will take pictures.

*hugs* I got your measure on Ravelry. I hope all is well. I had been worried when you went dark for a little bit. Was it related to the what you had tests done for before? I thought those had come back negative.

Sorry I missed you!

I heard you made it to the solstice picnic. Sorry I was in transit and not there!

Yes though we got there quite late. The sky was absolutely amazing though after the storms.

Glad to see you pop your head in! I'm in your neck of the woods for a few days :)

I saw that! I am doing the last of my editing today and then giving it to my advisor a little early. So if you wanted to do something (like go the Museum of Science (http://www.mos.org), let me know. We are members so it is free).

Did you find the places you wanted to eat at? I have cousin coming from out of state next week and have been thinking about where I should take her too.

Actually, I'm going to the MOS tomorrow afternoon! :) Technically, I'm a member because my employer's a corporate sponsor, but I'll buy tickets anyway because I know these sorts of places are always needing money (and it's the only non-work, non-food thing I've done *all week* that cost money aside from my charlie pass, so $20 is nothing).

I've pretty much been stumbling into restaurants with my lab. We went to Penang in Chinatown (on Washington, a few doors down and across the street from McDonald's) on Sunday, and that was pretty good, though slow. We also hit up Legal Seafood and The Black Sheep (both in Cambridge, on the way from MIT to Kendall) and some random_pizza in Chelsea (where we're staying). I am so-so on Legal Seafood, but The Black Sheep was excellent, and if you're in the neighborhood, I'd consider going there. (It's also got a really good vegetarian variety. Price-wise, most entrees were in the $17-22 range, but our bill for three was basically $100 because we split a bottle o' wine.)

Don't know where we're going tonight yet.

Done with the thesis, or an article submission? Either way, hooray! :)
