A few of you may be aware that I love the series xxxHolic. Despite the mildy unfortunately name in english (which at the very least I know made plaid_slytherin recoil slightly when I once talked to her about it. Well the manga series rather than the animated show, but same idea.) So good though!

I finished watching episodes 1-24 this week (just about the only non-Arisia thing I did other than play on the Wii). Love! Each is bitter sweet. There are no neat endings, and few of them are completely happy. But they say something about life and there are messages in them that resonate with me. Messages about the value of choice and the fallacies intrinsic to what we want instead of what we need.

*happy sigh* I am sort of sad I finished them, though I have no doubt I will watch them again. Any suggestions of something else I might like?

I've really enjoyed Natsume Yūjinchō thus far, but both the manga and anime are still ongoing.

Did I recoil? I can't remember. :D Maybe it's because I've never liked CLAMP.
