Wedding favors

I know a ton of you guys are really creative out there, so I am making a general collective brain call. My dear friend eoywin is getting married and I wanted to brainstorm for decorations/favors. Their theme is fairy tale or medival. I am starting to think of a few ideas, but I would love to hear about what you guys can think of.

Other ideas:

• allenswitch made mixed cds for their wedding and gave copies to each of their guests. This is great since the cds will only cost cents per person.
  
• allenswitch also had a theme for each of the tables being a different jewel (ruby, saphire etc) rather than numbers.
  
• From craftsrer (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=5642.0) there are a bunch of wedding favor ideas. I really like the second post in this thread.

Questions:

• Is there a color theme in addition to the fairy tale/medival theme?
  
• How many tables are going to be at the reception?

Our colors are green and purple. I'm not sure how many tables, since we haven't booked a reception site yet, and don't have a firm guest list yet either.

I like the cd idea, and so does Todd. His cousin did that for his wedding last year.
