I woke up this morning with a bunch of snippets of dreams still in my head, though I don't remember all of the details. It had to do with the fact that [livejournal.com profile] regyt had given me a starter couple of bees (including queen) to start my own beehive, and I had gotten a bunch of types of lizards (other than our real african fat-tailed gecko). But then they started laying eggs and we kept finding little lizards faster than we could find homes for them. In this dream I also met [livejournal.com profile] buxom_bey's beautiful little girl, who struck me as incredibly cute, clever and well mannered.

Kick ass! Are you really starting beekeeping? Or do you mean that you just had a dream that you were?

I just had a dream I was, though [livejournal.com profile] regyt really has started doing a bit of beekeeping.

When I get my own place that will allow me to do that, I might try it. Along with herpetoculture. I plan on being the proud owner of a 20 foot long albino burmese python one day.

Our rule is no snakes until we get our own house. The lizard we have is small enough and stays in a tank, so we don't really have a problem with landlords, but I don't want to be limited in where we can live because of an X foot long snake. My daughter really wants one, so this conversation comes up a lot with her.

They are a lifelong committtment. A burmese python can live over 20 years and needs AT LEAST an 8 x 4 cage. Yeah, if you don't have a house or are in a situation where you know you'll move every couple of years, it's not a good idea. Not fair to the snake either.

Sounds like pretty good dreams. Nice.
