My House Smells Likes Baking

Today I am trying to chill before con. I am answering email, yes, and figuring out what to pack. Beyond that though mostly I have been baking a few things for volunteers lounge. So far we have extra dark brownies (no pecans b/c of potential nut allergies though), spiced pumpkin bread, lemon poppy cake (with only 0.5c poppy seeds), glazed lemon cookies without the glaze. (And in the last recipe the author is right, these are too crumbly. You can tell even before chilling. Adding the juice of one meyer lemon fixed it though.)

Oh and I made a few of these Ginger Cinnamon Cookies with meyer lemon zest instead of the orange and a little vanilla extract for an undisclosed area of the con. ;)
