Ravelry on April 1st
Apr. 3rd, 2010 06:58 pmOk, yes this is late, but I have been busy with
salvbard getting ready to go to China. (He left this morning for just under 2 weeks.)
So of all the reasons I love Ravelry, one of the biggest is Casey (co-founder and codemonkey)'s playfulness. Seriously, April 1st is always fun. This year, as per tradition (at least since it has been around) everyone's icons (ravatars) got silly hats. Mine was a penguin! I don't remember what I had last year, but it was different. Hey ravelers, what sorts of hats did you have this year?
I didn't find any bugs crawling on the screen, but I did make a point a pressing the red button at the bottom of each page. All I got was flying kittens, despite my hope to find some of the screaming bunnies other people found. I also did not notice anyone's ravatar replaced by a sheep, but that may have simply been due to the fact that I am occasionally unobservant of such things.
