Yarn shortages and sheep measures
Aug. 25th, 2006 08:52 pmArg don't you hate when you run out of yarn before you finish a project? I am making a pair of seed rib stitch socks for Roger from Jaggerspun Maine Line (100% wool) in Seude but ran out before I finished the foot. I wanted to pick up the yarn today so that I could finish them this weekend. While I was there I also got a super cute tape measure at Lakeside Fibers. So cute! He can live with my duck-sheep at home.

Date: 2006-08-27 01:31 pm (UTC)Glad you made it to Loop - you never know what you're going to find in the sale bin - I'm sure he was making room on the shelves for more fall yarn. He had Rowan Wool Cotton on sale for $3.50/ball for the longest time, and last year, he was giving away Angora, practically.
Good luck with the socks, and I'm so happy you like the show.
